How Econpolitik got started…
This blog was started with the idea in mind that every once in a while I may stumble upon some insight about “things” that other people will find interesting. So, maybe my friends and family would like to read it in blog form every so often. I know that everyone and their mom has a blog, and most of them are fairly mediocre. I’m hoping that Econpolitik will avoid that category, but you’ll just have to tell me.
What will and will not be in this blog…
I will strive to keep this website relevant, humorous, grammatically correct, and dynamic (and also use the Oxford comma whenever possible.) In addition to the economic and political content that the name implies, I’ll post news items, gadgets, gossip, and items of general frivolity a couple of times a day. I will not be blogging about my emotional life; what I had for lunch (unless it was really good/bad); or what my neighbor’s cat Lily coughed up last night. God save us all if I start spending time writing about kitties.
You don’t have to read this blog…
If you’re a friend of mine, please feel under no obligation to read this website, but if you happen to find it interesting, feel free to pass the link along.
Finally, a Disclaimer…
The crap I write in this blog is intended for family and friends and is not meant as a method of mass communication. I hope people will use this to converse with me and eachother on various topics, but I can’t take responsibility for what anyone else says on here. Please take everything on here with a heavy helping of salt. Oh, and the opinions I express on here are my own and should not be construed in anyway to represent my employer or anyone else but yours truly. Also, any links on this blog are purely for the convenience of the reader and the content of those pages, especially any political endorsements or requests for political campaign contributions, do not constitute a request or an endorsement by me. (Whew! Glad I got all that out. Just don’t want to get in trouble here!)
